COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – GIRL WITH GRIT WORKSHOP – DIY ESSENTIAL OIL SHELF – REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!

Join us to learn about tools and gain practical skills through project based learning. Together, we will learn and have fun by building a shelf for your essential oils or spices. From following directions to getting creative, we have you covered!

SKILLS TAUGHT:

🛠️Introduction to Tools! Students get hands-on practice with various common household tools.

🥽 Safety and Personal Protective Equipment! Students will learn all about staying safe when working with tools and the personal protective equipment OSHA recommends.

👷‍♀️Learn about jobs! Students will learn about jobs where they earn a high wage, they get to be more active, and work with tools.

🏠Project-based Learning! Build a birdhouse, planter, or a different build and add a little creative flair. (Learn about these trades: Carpentry, Painting, Tile, Electrical, Plumbing).

🎨 Get Creative! Learn helpful skills like painting and enjoy the elements of art and design that go with the finishing touches.

PUBLIC WORKSHOPS

These workshops are open to everyone ages 6 to adult. We are completely inclusive and have a non-discrimination policy. All are welcome here. ❤

This release applies to any losses or injuries which may occur as a result of, or during participation in workshops."
By checking the above box, I understand that while working with tools, safety is a priority. I will wear closed toe shoes, pull long hair back, and be prepared to wear safety glasses, gloves, and adhere to facility rules at all times. We do recommend long sleeves and pants (bring layers) for an added layer of protection. We do provide safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and dust masks. Feel free to bring your own personal protective equipment.
Please verify your workshop location, time, and date. We will refund or credit any workshops we cancel. If you cancel with 72 hours notice, we can credit you.
