With women making up less than 10% of the skilled trades workforce, this two hour workshop introduces girls and women to the materials, methods, and the careers of the skilled trades. This information is critical for girls to know not only for their own personal knowledge and workforce capabilities but also for the introduction to the materials that are part of their everyday environments (electricity, plumbing, etc).
