Last year, I came across a post on a Crested Butte message board about GIRL WITH GRIT hosting workshops at the local art center. Curious to learn more, I reached out to the executive director to see if I could volunteer. What started as a simple inquiry quickly turned into a deep connection with their mission, empowering young girls and women to explore careers in the trades and construction.
Now, I’m excited to be part of the GIRL WITH GRIT Colorado Board of Directors and help expand and grow this incredible organization in Denver and across Colorado.
Through engaging, confidence-building projects, Girl with Grit highlights career pathways in the skilled trades, design, and STEM fields
As we work to continue to grow our reach in Colorado, there are so many ways for you to get involved, from sponsoring a program to hosting workshops, providing materials, volunteer or mentor. It’s a meaningful way to invest in the future of our workforce while making a lasting impact. I am already excited for what is starting to take shape here in Colorado. ❤️🛠️
