Another incredible woman behind the scenes of Girl with Grit is Sarah Lydia. Sarah helps promote our various policies within DEI and youth services. Sarah has lived and worked in South Texas for more than 20 years. As a professional champion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the workplace for the last 10 years, she’s excited to bring her expertise to Girl with Grit’s D&I committee. Sarah is passionate about advocating for underrepresented groups and fostering belonging among Texas youth. When she’s not volunteering or playing board games with her nieces and nephews, Sarah enjoys spoiling her Great Dane, Thor and her new puppy, Bucky.
