WE GIVE GIRLS OPPORTUNITIES.

The mission of the Girl with Grit Program is to give girls and women a safe space to grow their skills and confidence through mentors and experiences that help develop life skills, career paths, and passions. Girls and women get crash course workshops in everything from the arts to entrepreneurship to the trades to real life skills – such as basic automotive care, tools, and more.

Girls come to 6 hours of meetings monthly. During that time, they are offered a range of skills and various opportunities in the facility “Come and Make It!”. Girls can also join our Entrepreneur Program for the discounted rate of $19 monthly!

During their Sundays with us, girls work on learning new skills, have new experiences, and also have free roam of the Makerspace, Come and Make It!

FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH from 12 to 3 PM.

Please note, we offer LOADS of experiences for our girls and sometimes can’t plan what awesome teacher or skill will be offered to us. Please give us a CURRENT email so you don’t miss any last minute changes to our schedule!

MONTHLY COSTS:

$60 per month (ages 11 to 18)
Add only $19 to join the Entrepreneur Program and get a WHOLE EXTRA WEEKEND OF EXPERIENCES! One hour of business classes monthly! Ability to sell at markets!

Please note, we are off a few Sundays per year due to holidays. We have those holidays built into our discounted monthly fee throughout the year.

This agreement releases Come and Make It!, Girl with Grit Program, and its affiliated parties from all liability related to injuries that may occur at any location at any class, camp, workshop, or event, regardless of whether injuries or contraction of illness are caused by negligence. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risk has been made clear to me. I forfeit all right to bring a suit against Come and Make It!, Girl with Grit Program, and its affiliated parties for any reason, in return, myself or my child will receive participation in Come and Make It! Girl with Grit Program. I will ask for clarification when needed. All students must adhere to a basic code of conduct and posted Makerspace rules.
