DESCRIPTION:Firearm Safety Retreat  \nGirls will learn the basics of firearm safety in the classroom Friday and at the gun range in Saturday. This class is taught by Brooke Dorman\, a certified NRA instructor and coaches the only female led competitive shooting team in Texas. She also coaches the only fully female led competitive shooting team in Texas.\nCosts\nGirl with Grit Program Member – $25 (cost of book)\nGuest – $65 (cost of book and workshop) \nFriday Time and Location\nAgriCultural Museum and Arts Center\n102 City Park Road\, Boerne\, TX\nThe classroom portion of the class will be held on Friday June 23 from 1:00-4:00PM. \nSaturday Time and Location\nMission Ridge Range\n4507 N. Loop 1604\, San Antonio\, TX\nThe shooting portion of the class will be held on Saturday June 24 from 10:00AM-2:00PM.\nStudents will shoot 20-30 rounds at the range.  Parents will be able to shop and ask firearm questions of store employees.\n\n\n
