The mission of the Girl with Grit Program is to give girls and women a safe space to grow their skills and confidence through mentors, and experiences that help develop life skills, career paths, and passions. Girls and women get crash course workshops in everything from the arts to entrepreneurship to the trades to real life skills – such as basic automotive care, tools, and more.
MONTHLY COSTS:
$60 per month
Girls come to 6 hours of meetings monthly. During that time, they have demos and open makerspace time. Our meeting times throughout the year, outside of holidays and events are the first and third Sunday of every month from 12 to 3 PM. Please check the calender for all the GWG meetings!
$79 per month
Girls interetested in also being part of our Entrepreneur Program pay only an additional $19 per month!

Smashing stigmas about females in trades and introducing viable career paths with our experienced Trades Director and community partners

Through our entrepreneur program, girls create sellable products for a return, garnering real life business skills from merchandising to profit margins
STEM/STEAM
Girls are introduced to the elements of science, technology, engineering, art, and math through our digital and technology elements
Real Life Skills
Girls learn practical real life skills, everything from auto and home maintenance

Classes for
At-Risk Girls and Women
Girl with Grit Program funds classes in group homes and women’s shelters thanks to the fundraising efforts of youth in our community and your generous donations. At-risk girls and women get everything from enrichment to valuable life skills. Additionally, they are part of our Entrepreneurs Program where they learn real life business skills and make money, which can be vital in their circumstances.
