We provide Kendall County with Come and Make It!, a co-ed inclusive community creative space that houses Girl with Grit Program, Classes and Workshops, and our Mobile Workshop Program.

Visual Arts

The power of creativity through our staff and board of talented and accredited art instructors and assistants

Trades

Smashing stigmas about trades and introducing viable career paths with our experienced Trades Director and community partners

Business

Through our entrepreneur program, youth create sellable products for a return, garnering real life business skills from merchandising to profit margins

STEM/STEAM

Youth are introduced to the elements of science, technology, engineering, art, and math through our digital and technology elements

Real Life Skills

Youth learn practical real life skills, everything from auto and home maintence

Classes for

At-Risk Girls, Women, and Youth

Girl with Grit Program funds classes in group homes and women’s shelters thanks to the fundraising efforts of youth in our community and your generous donations. At-risk girls and women get everything from enrichment to valuable life skills. Additionally, they are part of our Entrepreneurs Program where they learn real life business skills and make money, which can be vital in their circumstances.
